Claire Barron and dog

Menopause is my speciality and my passion.

I'm Claire Barron and I have spent the last twenty years working in the NHS in the field of women's health. As a direct result of my experience, I have witnessed too many women receiving insufficient attention after the age of 40, with many enduring the physical, psychological, and sexual impacts of hormonal issues without adequate support or awareness from themselves or healthcare providers.

I want to offer my advice and share my expertise to support women in making the empowered and informed decisions that can benefit them the most.

Why The Coastal Women's Clinic?

I have grown up and lived on the Lincolnshire coast most of my life. Being on the beach and near the sea is where I feel at my most content. It’s the place I spent much of my time when going through my own menopause journey, helping me to feel calm and connected.

The Clinic itself runs from within The Physio Studio, 35 Victoria Road, Louth, Lincolnshire, LN11 0BU - strictly by appointment only - which has free, easy access parking and disabled access, making it an ideal location from which to offer my services.

What sets my approach apart?

It’s simple: I listen.

I take time to understand your unique symptoms and needs, and together we create a tailored plan that suits your lifestyle and preferences. Whether that includes HRT, CBT, lifestyle changes, or alternative treatments, I’m here to empower you to make informed choices and feel supported every step of the way.

NHS GP appointments are often only around 10 minutes long, which is barely time to describe your symptoms, never mind look at treatments. An appointment at The Coastal Women's Clinic gives you time to be listened to, where I can answer any questions you might have and look at what treatment options are right for you.
