HOW IS INFORMATION COLLECTED?
Information is collected through a secure, web-based client portal, Writeupp, where patients provide the necessary details when registering for services or during ongoing treatment.
We will never obtain information about you indirectly from sources outside our business. We store notes on a password protected computer for access only by the clinician consulted within the clinic. We consider you have provided consent for us to store personally identifiable information about your health based on your receiving services from us.
We will write to your General Practitioner (GP) with a summary of your consultation and will either send this by email. This is done with your consent but if we write a prescription for medicine for you then it is essential that we write to your GP to notify them. We will offer you a copy of the letter by email clarifying with you that emails sent from The Coastal Women’s Clinic are not encrypted.
PURPOSE OF INFORMATION COLLECTION?
Personal and medical information is collected for the following purposes:

To establish a nurse-patient relationship.

To share relevant health information with the patient’s registered GP, with the client’s consent.

To provide prescription services and ensure safe and effective medical care.

To process payments securely through Stripe.

WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?

We will only share your personal and medical information in the following circumstances:

With your Registered GP: Medical information will be shared with your GP, but only with your explicit permission.

With Stripe: Payment information will be shared with Stripe, our trusted payment processing partner, for secure handling of payment transactions. We will not share your personal information with any third parties for marketing or other purposes not mentioned in this policy.

Other users: when you share personal information or otherwise interact with public areas of our channels, such personal information may be viewed by all users and may be publicly made available outside the in perpetuity. If you interact with other users of our social networks (such as Instagram and Facebook), your contacts on the social network will see your name, profile photo, and descriptions of your activity.

During your consultation, you may disclose personal and sensitive information. This is treated in the strictest confidence and processed in line with UK legislation.
